2020-2021: Adapting to Virtual Challenges

  • A Home Season: We beat COVID with our fun robotics games!

2021-2022: Back to In-Person

Season Highlight

  • Awards: 1st Place Robot Performance & Project Award at State. Championship Award & 1st Place Robot Performance Award at Regional/Super Regional
  • Project: We designed a "cargo relay app" to help long-haul truck drivers to "share-drive" a long journey
  • Lesson Learned: Robot runs demanded constant fine-tuning. What began as frustration with unreliability became a clear lesson: technical work requires much patience and careful attention to detail.

2022-2023: Learning from Setback

Season Highlight

  • Awards: Robot Performance Award at Regional
  • Project: We created a functional prototype of a vertex induced electricity generator and ed it in the Chattahoochee River
  • Outreach: Visited Dr. Lai's Lab at the School of Civil& Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech
  • Lesson Learned: We didn't advance to the next level due to an unexpected issue. But we all determined to put our best efforts for the next season

2023-2024: Coming Back Stronger

Season Highlight

  • Awards: 2nd Place Championship at State, Championship at Super Regional and Regional. 1st Place Robot Performance at Super Regional and Regional
  • Advanced to National Invitational (6 out of 350 teams in Georgia)
  • Project: A Refreshable Tactile Braille Display
  • Lesson Learned: Building on last season's determination, we focused on improving communication and keeping our hardworking spirit alive. This year we rose to the challenge, achieved our goals, and proved we're a stronger team together!

  • Awards: 3rd Place Championship at State; Championshiop at Super Regional and Regional. 1st Place Robot Performance at State, Super Regional and Regional

  • Project: A functional prototype of a bag scanner and checkout system to encourage usage of biodegradable bags
